Criteria for the assessment and selection of web resources

SegnaWeb is a directory which includes specific and selected resources only, organized by topic.

Our policy is based on:

• web sites and pages that are free (it is explained if membership or fees are requested)
• web sites and pages of general interest and not specialized
• web sites and pages of Italian and international range, not local
• web sites run by public institutions and research centres which provide the source rather than web sites which develop second-hand information
• SegnaWeb privileges Italian web resources in Italian language
• SegnaWeb promotes the highest selection in order to help and facilitate users
• SegnaWeb links to local and specialized directories and possibly collaborates with them as well
• SegnaWeb links to similar directories for research in other countries and languages
