AIB. Vita dell'Associazione

L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche sottoscrive la dichiarazione “Copyright for Creativity – A Declaration for Europe” (https://www.copyright4creativity.eu/bin/view/Main/Declaration), lanciata da associazioni di consumatori e biblioteche, tra cui EBLIDA, per stimolare le autorità dell'Unione Europea a rafforzare eccezioni e limitazioni al diritto d’autore favorendo accesso alla conoscenza, ricerca, sviluppo e innovazione.

Esprimiamo soddisfazione per questa iniziativa, coerente con la posizione dell'AIB sul diritto d'autore nell'economia della conoscenza (https://www.aib.it/aib/cen/copyr0811-e.htm) e con l'azione che da anni vede le biblioteche italiane in prima linea a favore di riforme volte a riconoscere i diritti degli utenti e degli istituti scientifici e culturali.

The Italian Library Association (AIB, Associazione Italiana Biblioteche) signes the "Copyright for Creativity - A Declaration for Europe" (https://www.copyright4creativity.eu/bin/view/Main/Declaration), launched by consumer and library associations, including EBLIDA, to stimulate the European Union authorities to strengthen the exceptions and limitations to copyright in favour of access to knowledge, research, development and innovation.

We welcome this initiative, consistent with the AIB position on copyright in the knowledge economy (https://www.aib.it/aib/cen/copyr0811-e.htm) and with the actions of Italian libraries in favor of reforms aiming to enhance the rights of users and scientific and cultural institutions.
