59th AIB Congress Program

Biblioteche sostenibili: creatività, inclusione, innovazione
Roma, Biblioteca nazionale centrale

Nowaday libraries are called to prove their role among all processes of production and knowledge sharing, in order to be sustainable for the institiutions funding them. Otherwise their destiny is to stay at the margins of the society, and so they will disappear.
‘Sustainable libraries: creativity, inclusion, innovation’ is the title of the next Italian National Conference of Librarians, organised by AIB – Associazione Italiana Biblioteche.
We will discuss with librarians, makers, innovators, and designers, getting through topics as innovation in libraries, their capacity of getting start to creative processes, and their crucial role in including people and fighting the digital divide all over the country.
Have a look at the program and join the conversation in Rome, on the 24th and 25th of November 2016. Registration is open now!
