The idea of the international conference comes from the phrase of the IFLA President “Strong libraries strong societies” and aims to give examples of good practices carried on in Mediterranean libraries in relation to the following themes:
The following round table will discuss these themes, with policy makers, in connection with the last IFLA Trend report and the 2014 Lyon declaration.
IFLA President, an EBLIDA representative and representatives of Mediterranean libraries will be present.

L’ispirazione per il convegno internazionale è nata dalla frase “Strong libraries strong societies” della Presidente IFLA. Lo scopo è quello di riportare le buone pratiche in uso nelle maggiori biblioteche dei paesi di area mediterranea in relazione ai temi:
La tavola rotonda in programma per il pomeriggio, alla presenza dei più alti livelli istituzionali, discuterà su questi temi in connessione con l’ultimo IFLA Trend report e la 2014 Lyon declaration.
Sarà presente la Presidente IFLA, un rappresentante EBLIDA e colleghi delle biblioteche di area mediterranea.
